Who can add findings to an audit?
It depends on the type of audit as to who can add findings to an audit, for each audit type these are the roles who are able to add findings:
- Incoming Audit - Host
- Outgoing Audit - Lead Auditor, Additional Auditor(s)
- Internal - Host(s), Lead Auditor, Additional Auditor(s)
All users must also have the 'allowed to be QA' toggle switched on in their user profile settings.
Please note it is only the Responsible Person, as defined when creating an audit finding, that can close an audit finding.
How do I add findings to an audit?
To add findings to an audit, please follow these steps:
- In your audit go to the Findings tab and click on +Add Finding
- Select the Finding Type
- Add a title
- Add a description, if required
- Select a Responsible User(s)
- Pick a Due Date
- Upload a file, if required
- Toggle on/ off upload proof mandatory switch
- Save
- Save & New, to create another finding
Please note: If you toggle on 'upload proof mandatory' is required to close a finding the Responsible Person will be required to link to an existing CAPA (created in Scilife) and also upload a file in order to close a finding.
When can I add or close audit findings?
Findings can be added/ closed in 'In Progress' or 'Audit Performed' statuses by default.
It is possible to include more permissible statuses from the module settings.
All audit findings must be closed in order for the audit to be closed in the system.
