How can I add more Audit Finding Categories?

There are 4 preconfigured Audit Finding Categories:

  • Critical.
  • Major.
  • Minor.
  • Recommendation.

More can be added in the Audit Module Settings.

Adding Audit Finding Categories

  1. Go to Audits > Module Settings.
  2. Go to the Finding Categories section.
  3. Click on the + button.

In the Create Finding Category window you can:

  1. Assign the Finding Category to one or more Groups.
  2. Give the Finding Category a title.
  3. If it should be mandatory to link an Event to this type of Audit Finding Category, then turn the Linked Event mandatory switch ON, otherwise leave it turned OFF.
  4. If it should be mandatory to link a CAPA to this type of Audit Finding Category, then turn the Linked CAPA mandatory switch ON, otherwise leave it turned OFF.
  5. If it should be mandatory to link a Risk Assessment to this type of Audit Finding Category, then turn the Linked Risk Assessment mandatory switch ON, otherwise leave it turned OFF.
  6. If you would like to disable the Finding Category, turn the Disabled switch ON, otherwise leave it turned OFF.
  7. Save the new Finding Category.

  Relevant for: Administrators / Managers.
  Please note: Linked CAPA mandatory only applies to Internal and Incoming audits. It does not apply to Outgoing audits.
