When you are setting up your customised workflows within the QPD module, it is also possible to create Subworkflows.
Essentially, a Subworkflow is a workflow that runs in parallel to the main workflow itself.
For example, when you initiate a CAPA or a Change Request you are likely to add CAPA Actions or Change Request Tasks respectively. Therefore, by adding Actions and Tasks you are initiating a subworkflow at the same time.
