Under the premise that within the Scilife application, Standalone and Linked Risk Assessments vary only in some respects, it is important to point out one main difference, i.e. the context in which it is more suitable to create a Standalone Risk Assessment and that where a Linked Risk Assessment would be preferable.
Standalone Risk Assessments are ideal for global processes, pieces of equipment, and systems that are regularly reviewed, as they often encompass broader processes and systems.
On the other hand, Linked Risk Assessments are more specific to a single equipment, process, or system that is carried out on a one-off basis.
Having said that, within the Scilife application these are the differences between these two Risk Assessment Classifications:
|Linked Risk Assessment||Standalone Risk Assessment|
|Can be reopened after Closed / Done status||❌||✅|
|Can be set to Obsolete||❌||✅|
|Can be Force Reviewed||❌||✅|
