Go to Quality Process Designer > Designer.
- Select Fields from the dropdown.

Click on the New + icon.
- Configure mandatory fields as described in How to create a Field in QPD, then Select Date from the Field Type dropdown.
- Decide if a due date is required, please note this will fix the attribute to a 'Future Date with Current Date'
- Determine how the field picker should show Day/ Month/ Year in the calendar.
- Select your Attribute.
- Toggle on/ off Mandatory for this Field Type.
- Toggle on/ off Unique for this Field Type.
- Save.
