In the User Functions & Trainings tab of a User's profile, there are two different ways to assign trainings to that user, automatic or manual.
Automatic Training Assignment
By default, the toggle is OFF and it is assigned automatically. This means that this user will see the trainings on a one-by-one a basis. In other words, no further action is needed.
For more information on each training's start date, consult each individual training. The assignment of automatic trainings works in accordance with each respective training's start date, thus consider the start date when ordering the trainings.
Manual Training Assignment
The Manual training assignment method requires further action from an Administrator or the User's Manager as outlined in the User's Profile>User Functions & Trainings tab. Managers and Regular Users may be able to do this if it is configured on the back end that they have the rights provided in Manage>Permission Settings>General>Create/edit/delete users allowed by.
How to Start a Training for Manual Training Assignment
1) Go to Manage>Users
2) Search for the user in question
3) Click on the user's name or the view icon
4) Open the Trainings tab
5) Select the Start All Trainings button to begin all trainings or select the Start button in the Action column for each individual training
6) Select Yes in the Confirm popup to start respective trainings
The system will record the assignment and manual starting of any trainings in the audit trail and an email notification will be sent to the trainee once their training has started.
