Assigning a Document to Trainings

When working with the Document Control and Trainings modules, you can assign the document you are working on to trainings directly during the document's approval workflow. 

When signing a document to reach Approved, not Published status, there are two options within the Document signing form if you have the rights to create a training e.g. Administrator or Training Coordinator.

Assign to Existing Trainings

Firstly, you have the option to assign the document to existing trainings when signing off in a workflow in which the next status is Approved, not Published. 

1) Select the trainings to which you wish to assign the document to

2) Press Sign

An email will be sent to Trainees, the Training Coordinator, and any Training Supervisor.

Create a New Training

Secondly, there is also the option to create a new training with the document in question. Similarly, this is an option when signing off in a workflow in which the next status is Approved, not Published.

1) Select the Sign and Create New Training button

2) Create the training and click Save

The document will automatically be added to the Training Materials tab.
