Dynamic variables enable users to show specific fields within a group field.
For instance, if we have 5 fields within a custom field group, we can outline which of the 5 fields we would like to display.
How can I add a Dynamic Variable?
Below you will find an example formula for Dynamic Variables:
Bear in mind that what is highlighted in italics will need to be updated accordingly.
Please see the breakdown below:
Please note that the formula (#document_custom_field_InsertFieldNameHere) for individual fields within that field group can be repeated as many times as necessary, outlining each specific field you wish to display. Separate each field with the hashtag # key.
Custom Field Group Variable VS Dynamic Variable
A Custom Field Group Variable is different to a Dynamic Variable. A Custom Field Group Variable will automatically display all the Fields within the Field Group.
However, a Dynamic Variable enables us to select which Fields within that Field Group we wish to display, outlining such information with the formula provided above.
