There are a number of filters available on the KPI module to help you narrow it down to the exact information you are looking for. The aim of this article is to cover the possibilities and options you have when using the Select Period filter.
How to open the Filters options?
You should click on the highlighted arrow, on the right side of your screen, to open all the Filters options:
Using the Select Period Filter
Once you have opened the Filter menu, select the Select Period option to have a dropdown appear:
Here you will see the two main options within this filter, Date Range or Relative by.
Date Range
The Date Range option works by having you select a Start and End date, and the data corresponding to that range will show up.
Relative by
This alternative allows you to select a range in a simpler way by choosing if you want the range to be relative to Years, Quarters, Months, Weeks, or Days. Then you can assign the time for the respective period you would like to view, for example, six months.
If you have chosen the Relative by option, you can also complete it by using the option at the bottom of this menu, ''Exclude Last''. Here you can input how many Years, Quarters, Months, Weeks, and Days you wish to exclude from the overall Relative by the range you have previously selected.
