When can I link an Event to a CAPA?

You can only link Events to a CAPA if the said Event is in the Under Investigation status.

Linking an Event to a CAPA

  1. Go to CAPAs > CAPAs.
  2. Use the Filters and/or Search field to find the CAPA you wish to edit.
  3. Once you have found the CAPA, click on the Actions button.
  4. Click on Edit.

In the CAPA form:

  1. Scroll down and find the Events field.
  2. Select the Event you would like to link to the CAPA. You can link multiple Events.
  3. Click on Save.

How to check linked Events

You will find the Linked Events in the Events Tab of the CAPA Details Page. In order to access this information:

  1. Go to CAPAs > CAPAs.
  2. Use the Filters and/or Search field to find the CAPA you wish to view.
  3. Click on the ID or Title to open the CAPAs Details Page.

On the CAPA Details Page:

  1. Click on the Events Tab to see all linked Events.

Can I see this CAPA listed on the Events detail page?

Yes, as soon as you link an Event to a CAPA, the information will be displayed on both items' Details Page. You can check it by:

  1. Go to Events > Events.
  2. Use the Filters and/or Search field to find the Event you wish to view.
  3. Click on the ID or Title to open the Event Details Page.

  1. Click on the CAPAs tab to see all linked CAPAs.
