Who can create, edit and delete Users?

Administrators

By default, the system settings only allow Administrators to create, edit and delete Users. This setting cannot be modified.

Managers and Regular Users

Depending on the configured Permission Settings, Managers and Regular Users will also be allowed to create Users.

Allowing Managers and/or Regular Users to create, edit and delete Users

  1. Go to MANAGE > Scilife Settings.
  2. Go to Permission Settings.
  3. Go to General.
  4. Go to the Create/edit/delete Users allowed by section. The switch for Administrators will be turned ON and cannot be deactivated.
  5. If you wish for Managers to be able to create, edit and delete Users turn the switch ON, otherwise leave it turned OFF as per default system settings.
  6. If you wish for Regular Users to be able to create, edit and delete Users turn the switch ON, otherwise leave it turned OFF as per default system settings.
  7. Click Save.
