How can I edit Audit Finding Categories?

There are 4 preconfigured Audit Finding Categories:

  • Critical.
  • Major.
  • Minor.
  • Recommendation.

These can be edited in the Audit Module Settings.

Editing Audit Finding Categories

  1. Go to Audits > Module Settings.
  2. Go to the Finding Categories section.
  3. Hover over the Finding Category and Click on the Actions button.
  4. Click on the Edit icon.

In the Update Finding Category window you can:

  1. Add or remove Groups to which the Audit Finding Category is assigned.
  2. Edit the Finding Category title.
  3. If it should be mandatory to link an Event to this type of Audit Finding Category, then turn the Linked Event mandatory switch ON, otherwise leave it turned OFF.
  4. If it should be mandatory to link a CAPA to this type of Audit Finding Category, then turn the Linked CAPA mandatory switch ON, otherwise leave it turned OFF.
  5. If it should be mandatory to link a Risk Assessment to this type of Audit Finding Category, then turn the Linked Risk Assessment mandatory switch ON, otherwise leave it turned OFF.
  6. If you would like to disable the Finding Category, turn the Disabled switch ON, otherwise leave it turned OFF.
  7. Save the changes.

  Relevant for: Administrators / Managers.
  Please note: Linked CAPA mandatory only applies to Internal and Incoming audits. It does not apply to Outgoing audits.
