Who can reopen a Change Request?
Administrators
Administrators can Reopen a Change Request, regardless of having a role in the Change Request or not.
Managers and Regular Users
A Change Request can be reopened by Managers/Regular Users who have a role in the Change Request such as Creator, Approver, Responsible Person, or QA.
Managers/Regular Users who only have a role in the Change Request as Responsible User for a Task will not be able to reopen a Change Request.
How to reopen a Change Request?
To reopen a Change Request you first need to enable this option in Module Settings.
- Go to Change Control > Module Settings.
- Click on General.
- Toggle the corresponding switch ON.
- Save the changes.
With this option turned ON, you should be able to reopen a Closed Change Request if you have one of the roles mentioned above.
While on the Change Request details page, you can click over the Closed status to see the Reopen Change Request option.
