Who can reopen a Change Request?

Administrators

Administrators can reopen a Change Request both when they have 'Allowed to be QA person' ON and OFF, and regardless of having a role in the Change Request.

Managers

Managers can reopen a Change Request both when they have 'Allowed to be QA person' ON and OFF, and regardless of having a role in the Change Request.

Regular Users

Regular Users can reopen a Change Request if they have 'Allowed to be QA person' turned ON, and regardless of having a role in the Change Request.

However, Regular Users with 'Allowed to be QA person' OFF are not allowed to reopen a Change Request in which they have no role. 

 

How to reopen a Change Request?

To reopen a Change Request you first need to enable this option in Module Settings.

  1. Go to Change Control > Module Settings.
  2. Click on General.
  3. Toggle the corresponding switch ON.
  4. Save the changes.

With this option turned ON, you should be able to reopen a Closed Change Request if you have one of the roles mentioned above.

 

While on the Change Request details page, you can click over the Closed status to see the Reopen Change Request option.
