Tags are basically just labels. They will help you:
- Organize your data in Scilife.
- Link different items in Scilife to each other.
- Make it easier to Filter and Search for items.
Let’s say for example that you have different Documents, Events, CAPA’s and Audits that are all related to security issues. By assigning the security Tag to all of these items you will easily be able to see how many items within Scilife are related to security.
In other words, Tags are present in all item creation forms in Scilife.
When creating or editing an item you can assign more than one tag to an item. For instance, a Document can be linked to both security, manufacturing and maintenance.
Finally, Tags are a powerful tool to use when filtering contents in any module in Scilife and easily finding the elements you are looking for.
Relevant for: Administrators / Managers / Regular Users / Read-Only Users.
Please note: Administrators can create tags. Managers and Regular Users can also be allowed to create tags if the Allow Manger or Regular User to create tags switch is turned ON in Manage > Permission Settings > General. Read-Only Users are not allowed to create tags.
