Understanding Errata Request Numbers

Errata requests use the following numbering format:

Printout number / Errata request sequence

• The number before the “/” identifies the printout as per Unique ID.
• The number after the “/” indicates the sequence of the errata request associated with that printout.

Example

SOP Number 8/2 means that this is the second errata request raised for printout SOP Number 8.

This may occur when the first errata request (SOP Number 8/1) was rejected and the same printout subsequently went through the errata request process again.

The numbering does not necessarily mean that multiple errata requests are active for the printout at the same time. It records the sequence of requests raised for that printout.
