My printed barcode is too small or large - what should I check?

If you have problems with the barcode sizing please check the following:

  • Verify your Windows display scaling and that the MSI version is at least P&R 2.1.0. 

  • Ensure the printer driver is not forcing “Fit to page” or custom scaling. 

  • Always use 100% print scale.

Following the upgrade to MSI 2.1.0, the features listed were introduced:

  • Improved DPI detection normalizes rendering across high-DPI and standard displays.

  • Print pipeline aligned with preview scaling to avoid “shrink” or “stretch” effects.

  • Consistent module width, quiet zone, and overall barcode bounds across devices.
