How to link a Change Request to another Change Request

If this setting has been enabled by one of your system Administrators in your Module Settings, it will be possible to link Change Requests to each other.

Once the setting has been enabled, Change Requests can be linked in any status where it is possible to edit the Change Request.

If you are creating a new Change Request or editing an already created one, and you wish to link it to another Change Request, you can do so by:

  1. Go to Change Control Change Request.
  2. Use the Filters and/or Search field to find the Change Request you wish to Edit.
  3. Click on the Edit icon from the Actions dropdown.
  4. In the Select Change Request field, select or search for the Change Request(s) you would like to add.
  5. Save.

 

How can I check if my Change Request was linked to a Change Request?

By going to the Change Request Details page of a specific CR, and clicking on the Change Request tab you will see all linked Change Requests:

Change Requests that have been linked and then since deleted will show as follows:

  Relevant for: Administrators / Managers / Regular Users
