Description

Responsible Person

This is the only mandatory role in a D&D project.

The Responsible person is able to add/ edit/ delete the project details and roles and design control items.

They are the user who will need to sign off the project/ phase / item when they are in Draft status to push the workflow item to the next status.

They can also start a new version of an approved project, phase, or item.

Reviewer

This is an optional role in a D&D project.

They need to sign off the project/ phase / item when they are in Under Review status to move it on to the next status in the workflow OR send it back to Draft status.

QA

This is an optional role in a D&D project.

They need to sign off the project/ phase / item when they are in Under QA status to move it on to the final status in the workflow (Approved status) OR send it back to Draft status.

 

  Relevant for: Administrators / Managers / Regular Users
  Please note:
  • The Creator of a D&D project can be any Regular/ Manager/ Administrator user with access to the D&D solution
  • The Creator of a D&D project does not need to have an assigned role in the project, but if they don't have a role in the project or aren't an Administrator User, they will be unable to edit the project.
  • The Responsible Person is the only mandatory role
  • Multiple users can be added per role
  • A user can be added to more than one role
