Role | Description |

Responsible Person | This is the only mandatory role in a D&D project. The Responsible person is able to add/ edit/ delete the project details and roles and design control items. They are the user who will need to sign off the project/ phase / item when they are in Draft status to push the workflow item to the next status. They can also start a new version of an approved project, phase, or item. |
Reviewer | This is an optional role in a D&D project. They need to sign off the project/ phase / item when they are in Under Review status to move it on to the next status in the workflow OR send it back to Draft status. |
QA | This is an optional role in a D&D project. They need to sign off the project/ phase / item when they are in Under QA status to move it on to the final status in the workflow (Approved status) OR send it back to Draft status. |
- The Creator of a D&D project can be any Regular/ Manager/ Administrator user with access to the D&D solution
- The Creator of a D&D project does not need to have an assigned role in the project, but if they don't have a role in the project or aren't an Administrator User, they will be unable to edit the project.
- The Responsible Person is the only mandatory role
- Multiple users can be added per role
- A user can be added to more than one role
