Unable to access the Print & Reconciliation tool

  • Updated

Occasionally some users may be unable to access the Scilife Print & Reconciliation tool due to changes in their account or environment set-up.

Common scenarios include:

  • Account/ Permission changes after login - if a session was created when a user had valid credentials but their account is later removed/ permission revoked they may not be able to access or may face unexpected behaviour during subsequent logins.
  • Environment specific updates - changes deployed to the customer's VAL or TEST environments could impact access or cause the application to close unexpectedly.
  • Invalid domain access - if a user enters a domain where they lack the access rights the application might not display a logout option thus leaving them stuck in an invalid session.

Since user sessions in P & R are created for a specific time frame these issues may arise when stored data becomes outdated/ invalid.

In such cases, a Force Clear Session should be performed to manually clear the stored session and initiate a clean login process.  This will ensure that users can reauthenticate with current credentials and access permissions.

For continued issues with the application please raise a ticket with the Service Desk.
