Why can't I add a Comment to an Item?

 

If you would like to add a Comment to an item but the Add Comment button is not shown, this may have to do with a combination of your permission role within the system and whether you have a role in the item in question.

In other words, if you are a Regular User or Manager without a role in the item, or a Read-Only user then you cannot add Comments to this item:

 

 

  Relevant for: Administrators / Managers / Regular Users.
