What's the difference between the Table search and the Content search?

  • Updated

On the Documents listing page, you will notice that it is possible to run a search in two modalities:

  • Table search
  • Content search

Table search

Table search is the default modality to research the Document listing page. This allows you to search by Document ID, Document Title, Version, etc.

In other words, it allows you to search a document based on the Fields applied to your Document listing page. This means that if a Field is not showing, then it will not be possible to search by that field.

Content search

On the other hand, the Content search modality allows you to search within the content of the Document itself. For example, if you type the word 'cleaning' in the search bar, the system will generate a list of documents containing the word 'cleaning' as well as documents that contain the word 'cleaning'.
