Equipment
Equipment can be deleted from the Equipment listing page.
- Administrators can delete any Equipment in any status
- Managers can delete any Equipment in the Created status if they have been assigned the QA role in the Equipment workflow.
- Regular Users are unable to delete Equipment.
Equipment Files
In the Equipment module, you can upload files from the Equipment Edit form, the Maintenance Task Sign-off window, and the Comments.
Once uploaded, all documents will be listed in the files tab with different sources: Equipment, Equipment - Maintenance, and Equipment - Comments.
Users can view or download according to their permission role, but can only delete the files uploaded from the Comments, as follows:
- Administrators can delete uploaded Files regardless of having a role in the Equipment or Task.
- Managers can delete uploaded Files regardless of having a role in the Equipment or Task.
- Regular users cannot delete uploaded Files in an Equipment or Task, whether they have a role or not.

Please note: Files uploaded from the Equipment Edit form and the Maintenance Task Sign-off window cannot be deleted. These are files uploaded as proof that a specific piece of maintenance has been completed or as technical support related to the equipment itself.
