Checking the system logs to view failed log-in attempts.

It is possible to check the system logs for general user activity such as failed password attempts.

  1. Go to Scilife Settings > View system log.
  2. Click on Filter to narrow down your search.
  3. Search by User.
  4. Use From and To to define a search range.
  5. Use the Search option to be more specific.

Please also note that the maximum no. of attempts a user has to input their password before a password reset is required by a system administrator is 10, this is a default setting and cannot be altered.
