What does the copy path option do?

When you open the Scilife Virtual Printer, the MSI pop-up displays several action icons in the top bar on the right-hand side.

If you click on Logging, a drop-down menu will appear with some options:

  • Disable Log
  • Copy Path
  • Log Path

Copy Path and Log Path are the options to generate the Print logs.

What does the Copy Path do? 

The Copy Path option enables you to make a copy of the file path to open it within your won file to be be viewed.

In order to make a copy of the file path, follow these steps in the Scilife Virtual Printer:

  1. Click on Logging > Copy path.
  2. Go to your File explorer.
  3. Go to the File search bar and clear any existing text.
  4. Copy & paste the path > click Enter.
  5. The Print log will open up with the printing logs.

The print logs that open up can then be copied & pasted or forwarded as you see fit.
